No Dessert, Dad, ‘Til You Mow the Lawn

The Cochran children (Joshua Schaefer, Allison Mack and James Marsden) are tired of their workaholic, chain-smoking parents’ benign neglect. So, when Mom (Joanna Kerns) and Dad (Robert Hays) buy self-hypnosis cassettes to kick the tobacco habit, the kids sense an opportunity: They pepper the tapes with subliminal messages and watch as their parents do the youngsters’ bidding. The Cochrans’ lives soon turn topsy-turvy in this wacky family film.
